Step 1 – Disassemble
Disassemble the drill body. There are a number of obvious screws, and one hiding under the rubber grip. Prise the grip off, starting at the bottom with a flat screw driver. Once open you can easily remove the motor from the case and planetary gearbox.
If your drill is a second hand job, get your cleaning hat on and clean off all the carbon dust and other dirt
